V-Tac Sling SystemTM
Patent 6520390
Purpose
Anyone who has ever used a tactical rifle sling while wearing combat gear knows there are many things that your rifle's sling may get caught on.  The V-Tac Sling System was designed to eliminate this problem.  This is accomplished by attaching your weapon directly to the front of your load bearing harness or vest.  Attached in this manner, ther are no sling straps over your shoulder, behind your back or under your arms. This greatly reduces the possibility of snagging, but still allows for full range of motion with your weapon.  This includes shooting positions from the right or left shoulder, crawling, butt stroke, etc.  This system is adjustable, allowing the operator to vary the height and angle at which your weapon is carried.

(Click on the photos for larger images.)

The V-Tac Sling System consists of the Traverse Strap and the Harness.

The V-Tac Sling System is adjustable to carry your weapon at various angles.  Here, the V-Tac is adjusted to carry the weapon muzzle down at a 45 degree angle.

The V-Tac Sling System attached to AR15 rifle.

V-Tac Harness attached to Load Bearing Vest.  Note the left hand touching our optional Weapon Retention Strap  (Vest not included).

The weapon is secured by the Weapon Retention Strap.  This keeps the rifle from flopping around when the operator needs the use of his hands while negotiating obstacles, climbing, hand cuff procedures, etc.
